Little Bluestem

Schizachyrium scoparium is a smaller grass, reaching 18-24" tall and wide with inflorescence reaching 4-5 feet. Best in full sun and moist soils, but drought tolerant once established. Great choice for wildflower meadows as the seeds are loved by birds.
