Florida Flame Red Maple

Acer rubrum 'Florida Flame' is a large, deciduous shade tree that grows 40-60 feet with a rounded, compact crown. Red Maples will display red foliage in wet natural areas year around but needs cool to cold weather in the fall to get foliage color in landscape applications. This variety provides especially rich fall color along with beautiful red new growth. Plant in average to wet conditions in sun or partial sun for shade, landscape color and wildlife benefits.
