Florida Pinxter Azalea

Pinxter Azalea, Rhododendron canescens, is a native relative of the commonly seen ornamental azaleas, these shrubs can reach 10 ft high and wide. Pink, fragrant blooms emerge mid spring before the leaves are produced. Prefers part shade and average soil moisture. Requires acidic soil.
