Product Description

American Elm, Ulmus americana, is a deciduous, native shade tree. 60-80 ft tall by 20-40 ft wide. It is a larval host for Eastern Comma, Question Mark, and Painted Lady Butterflies. Becomes a strong shade tree that is great for placing along sidewalks because of the large but high canopy. Likes moist to average soil moistures and part sun to full shade. Drought tolerant once established.
