Georgia Aster

Georgia Aster, Symphyotrichum georgianum, is a north Florida native wildflower that is rare and only occurs in one county. It is listed as an Endangered species in Georgia. It has striking purple rayed flowers in October and November. Although rare in the wild, this showy wildflower is sparingly produced by native growers.
