Product Description
Giant Ironweed, Vernonia gigantia, is an upright perennial that grows 4 to 6 ft. tall and is narrowly branched at the top. It bears deep purple-blue flower heads in loose terminal clusters from May into fall. This is a good flowering wildflower for butterfly attraction and it can tolerate bright shade to full sun in average to moist soil.
