Salt and Pepper Snowy Squarestem

Melanthera nivea is a course plant with hairs that make the stems and leaves feel rough. The anthers are white and black, hence the common name Salt & Pepper. Blooms through the warm months. Established plants are highly drought tolerant and tolerant of salt air. This plant is an incredible pollinator plant that likes dappled shade to full sun and moist-average soils.
