Scrub St. John’s Wort (Saint John’s)

Scrub St. John's Wort (Hypericum tenufolium) is a short lived perennial wildflower that rarely grows taller than 12"-18" tall. It prefers well-drained soils and full sun, and blooms at the tips of stems with small, intricate yellow blooms. Expect flowers throughout the summer. This is a great, low growing drought resistant wildflower and can be used to great effect as a border plant. Good pollinator attraction.
