Wood Sage

Wood Sage, Teucrium canadense, is a wildflower that spreads aggressively by rhizomes in moist to wet conditions in partial shade. The tall thin stems reach 2 to 3 feet in height. The pink / lavender blooms in late spring and early summer are showy and attract butterflies. This plant is well suited to restoration sites, but care should be taken as it can be overly aggressive in many garden settings.
