Product Description
Chalky Bluestem, Andropogon virginicus var. glaucus is a short-lived, deciduous perennial grass that grows 3'-5' tall. It prefers part sun and average to moist well-draining soils. It is a great wildlife plant, providing both food and nesting materials for birds and other small animals. It is also the host plant for the Zabulon Skipper (Poanes zabulon) butterfly.
